So much has happened since my last post! Poor health has led to moving close to my daughter in central Guildford. In the years following my last entry I continued with my variety of interests. I returned to actively supporting my Pompey football team as a season ticket holder and went on several trips with other supporters to away matches including visits to Sunderland and Blackpool. And the Checkatrade Trophy final at Wembley when Pompey beat Sunderland on penalties before a record crowd for the event.

Nowadays I’m living a very quiet life day by day, grateful for a long and happy retirement and about to celebrate my Diamond wedding anniversary this week on 21 August 2025 with my beloved Ruth.
